|Trekking in the Himalayas
Great Himalaya Trail
It’s not so extraordinary. You don’t have to be some sort of supreme athlete with a line of porters behind you to set off and explore the Himalayas.
Nevertheless it takes quite a bit of individuality, a good deal of physical strength plus a sack-full of determination to trek The Annapurnas, the regions of Langtang and Everest and indeed the Great Himalaya Trail. There are people who do it and next-to-none who regret it.
Afterwards, it may well seem one of the simplest and most worthwhile things you ever made up your mind to do. And in retrospect, you may, just may, hardly remember the toil and internal struggles involved in some of the challenges encountered on a great trek.
Our place and part in our future will be affected by our knowledge and understanding of the present and the past.
Our planet now contains billions of us, but comparatively few as fortunate as you and us here. And if we don’t take an interest, who else can we expect to?
To know our world, come join us in trekking the Himalayas.
